Overview

The Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST-10) is a 10 item brief screening tool which can be self reported or administered by a clinician. Each question requires a yes or no response, and the tool can be complete in less than 8 minutes. The tool assesses drug use (not alcohol or tobacco use) in the past 12 months. There is a separate questionnaire, called DAST-A, or use with adolescents.
