Explore and develop your understanding and skills on the use of outcome and feedback measures

In this webinar we will introduce questionnaire-based outcome and feedback measures in children and young people's mental health and wellbeing. By the end of the course participants will understand the rationale for using these kind of outcome measure and will feel informed and confident in choosing and using measures and interpreting the response data.

Delegates will be able to:

  • Understand what measures are, why to use them and the different uses

  • Choose a measure for a particular purpose and explain why they chose it;

  • Introduce a measure to a service user and gain informed consent to use the data;

  • To interpret measures data at an individual and aggregate level.

Who is this course suitable for?

The course is suitable for professionals working with children and young people who are thinking of using outcome measures and for other professionals, such as managers and commissioners, who want to support the use of outcome measures within clinical and non-clinical settings.

Regional Officer

As Regional Officer for the Midlands and South West, Lee seeks to support organisations and services to develop their evidence based and outcome focused approach for service improvement. Lee developed his passion for this work supporting the mental health and well-being of children and young people over 12 years across voluntary and statutory sectors. This experience gave him a keen understanding of the needs of children, young people and their families (CYPF) and a commitment to putting them at the centre of all support for them. Lee is excited by the variety and diversity of work that takes place for CYPF and seeks to better understand, to demonstrate and to improve the effectiveness of this support.
