Overview

The Treatment Outcomes Profile (TOP), was developed by the National Treatment Agency to provide a outcomes monitoring tool to measure the effectiveness of drug treatment. The TOP is a simple set of questions which can be asked at various stages of a treatment journey and the data is reported through the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS).

Administration

The TOP is completed by the practitioner at the start of treatment, periodically throughout the treatment journey and when the client finishes treatment.
