Jigsaw
Jigsaw is a mental health charity that provides free therapy and support to young people living in Ireland. They work with young people aged 12 to 25 – both online and in person in one of their18 locations around Ireland. Their vision is for an Ireland where every young person's mental health is valued and supported.
They work with communities to strengthen the skills, relationships, and environments that help young people thrive—before challenges become bigger problems. They provide training and resources for youth clubs, community groups, schools, sports organisations, and more – both online and in person.
Young people and their voices are central to everything Jigsaw do. Young people sit on their Board and sub-committees to make sure that everything they do is not only for young people but with young people. They work directly with young people through their Youth Advocate Programme; capture the voices of young people with lived experience of mental health challenges, and listen and consult with young people in their communities.
Jigsaw's Research and Evaluation Department leads a programme of health services research and evaluation focused on improving youth mental health services across Ireland. Their work is informed by evidence, shaped by learning, and aligned with Ireland’s National Mental Health Research Strategy.
