2026 CORC Forum: Evidence in practice and prevention
The CORC team are in full planning mode for our annual CORC Forum event, which we very much look forward to. Seeing both familiar and new faces together online.
The booking link is now open for you to reserve your place(s).
‘Evidence in practice and prevention: Child Outcomes Research Consortium Forum 2026’ takes places on Thursday 26 November 2026, 09:30 to 13:30.
We are pleased to announce that this year's keynote speaker is Jamie Masraff, Chief Executive of OnSide, the national youth charity that is determined to make sure that all young people have the opportunity to shine. OnSide builds and supports a network of Youth Zones in the UK’s most disadvantaged areas, which collectively reach over 60,000 young people every year. Jamie will speak from his experience about the situation facing young people, the role that youth centres play in supporting young people to fulfil their potential, and the impact they have on young people’s outcomes.
This year's event focuses on 'evidence in practice and prevention'. The full agenda will be shared in September - via our newsletter and on LinkedIn. However, we can confirm that we’ll be hearing updates from Head of CORC, Kate Dalzell, CORC Research Lead Dr Jenna Jacob updates, including the state of measures; CORC member The Children's Society about their upcoming Good Childhood Report (research of which is currently in progress); youth voice and more.
Attendance is free to CORC member organisations' staff, or for the fee of £60 for non-members.

Additional CORC member meeting
We are also excited to invite all CORC members, and colleagues within each member organisation, to join us at our first CORC Member Meeting, which will take place from 14:00 to 15:00 on Thursday 26 November.
This meeting will take place after the Forum (9.30am to 1.30pm).
This members’ only event will enable you to:
- contribute to shaping the areas of work CORC will be focusing on over the next twelve months, and understand how members can get involved.
- explore how CORC membership is being used by different organisations to support their work and their staff to benefit the children and young people they work with.
- learn from and contribute to the conversation around current challenges, issues on the horizon and how to respond.
It will be a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from across different sectors, organisations and job roles that share a commitment to using and improving evidence to improve children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing and contribute to CORC’s work and future plans.
